PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Speed Beautiful, a media company that publishes auto reviews for women and families, was in need of a fully-functioning website to reflect the style of its dynamic brand. Its previous website was built on a drag-and-drop platform that made it difficult to manage, and with several staff writers and contributors, Speed Beautiful required a solution that would enable multiple users to work on the site at all times.
In order to generate a high-quality website within a reasonable budget and timeframe, MyMobileLyfe built this project on a fully-hosted WordPress installation (as we do for all of our clients requiring website development). Before we began work on the site, we made a roadmap containing development milestones and deadlines: using this roadmap, we committed to providing regular updates to the Speed Beautiful team as we made progress on the site.
The previous version of the Speed Beautiful website already contained dozens of articles and reviews, as well as several hundred photos for slideshows. After importing this content to the new site and formatting is as needed, we created the remaining site sections and implemented the styles and layouts requested by the client.
In addition to the user-facing website components, we took care to ensure that the site itself was secure, easy to manage, and fast-loading. And we integrated third-party services for tracking website analytics and managing email newsletter subscribers. We also wrote a comprehensive documentation manual containing everything the client needed to know in order to keep the website updated.
By the end of the project, Speed Beautiful had a sleek, high-performing website that truly reflected its brand.
